I have a slingshot that seems to get comprable muzzle velocity.

I just want to know more about that picture. How and where did they take one that big unless it is CG. What kind of precautions were used?

I still wonder what memory and hardware manufacturers are doing behind closed doors with prototypes. It must make stuff like this look like kids in the sandbox.

They actually work pretty well. My Hang Gliding instructor was also a master welder and he welded a few brackets for them.

Now if only I can find a radio that will work on my myTouch 1.2. It is so great to be able to jail break a phone and install all kinds of great new things on it. Then I my radio doesn't work since there is no driver.

Eclipse Aviation also used to use this method for building their airframe. They saved a ton of weight by not using rivets.

Does any of it work? Some of that stuff looks like nav aids to retrofit planes with.

I have wondered if this ever happened from time to time.
