Agreed. Console folks are afraid to get their hands dirty or something. It’s most likely the compound or dust. Probably a combination of both... The dust builds up, which leads to higher temps, which leads to the crappy TIM they used moving off to the side, leaving him with a naked CPU die touching the copper (?) heat

Well, if you really want to save some money, you can just disassemble your PS4 to clean and apply new thermal paste. It’s not hard and will cost you the price of pc cleaner, paper towels, Q-tips and thermal paste.  I would never waste money on a slim. Definitely go for pro even if you don't have a 4k TV.

He should have cited his source...His high school teachers have failed him.

Especially after you mod it by replacing the buttons with a cross style d-pad.

Nintendo is getting so many things wrong with the Switch: no achievements, cloud saves, voice communication, virtual console, and netflix. What else are they going to F up this year?

I’m personally a big fan of the Steam controller. I was a skeptic for two years, but with all the possible settings, you can get it just right for most games. I only wish that they made the face buttons bigger, and make everything modular.

My girl is going to murder me if she finds out that i sold my wiiu for the switch... They better port Pikmin 3 fast.

It’s a performance issue. It would severely limited. The performance in the campaign is already pretty bad comparatively.

Agreed. If we didn’t have access to a magazine review on hand, box are is pretty much all we had to go on back then... And Life Force is the shit still.

That’s not true. Moira heals at a faster rate than Mercy. Mercy is just broken.

I think Mario 64 reminds me the most of the holiday season. It’s got all the snow levels down pat.

So we shouldn’t have jokes in a videogame franchise that have been a tradition since Wolf3d? Seriously, grow a backbone. Since when has taking the easy route been a good thing anyway? Anything worth doing is going to be difficult.

Honestly, it is what you make of it. I notice that people that bring shit attitudes have the hardest time ranking up so they just mute everyone. It’s hard to play a team game, if you can’t communicate well with others. If you bring a positive mental attitude, people tend to reciprocate even during bad games.

It’s not a matter of meta really in this situation. It’s really a matter of the type of map and the opponents’ composition. For example, if there’s a big open map and the other team has a pharah, the two snipers, and whatever else. Having a ray gun that only extends about 5 ft just flat out hurts the team. It’s really

There’s a difference between having a hero as a main, where you would spend 90% of your time on, and someone who one tricks even if they’re being effectively countered. They’re likely the anti-social type and are not in coms or chat.

I haven’t seen Ai in a long time. I remember it being good.

I dunno... I’m having a hard time picturing this being any good. I mean, Zak Penn and the guy who wrote the book are doing the screenplay? Plus, when was the last time Stephen Speilberg did anything good in terms of sci-fi?

Alpha was not a part of what killed fighting games. The rise of online gaming and the death of arcades impacted how games today are developed. The alpha series was extremely popular at the time. Fighting games today are doing just fine though, otherwise they wouldn’t be made. I think fighting games may have just died

Best Radiohead album.

I love how there’s always one person who has to contradict a completely rational opinion. What’s up with these crazies?
