It's too bad I don't have the time to put into the game like that. I've recently started to play and learn it, but I'm not willing to sit down and take notes on the match-ups and counterpicks to my characters. I'll just continue to enjoy the game and learn as I play.

If there is a plasma donation center near you, that's always an option. It's usually about $20 per donation with different bonuses at different locations. You could donate twice in a span of 10 days. If you're not scared of needles, that'll put food on your table, it did for me when I needed it a few years ago.

Ah man, it's like FTL. Why are there always people shooting at you!? And FIRE always FIRE. I can't help but play these kinds of games, so I'll definitely give it a shot if the price is right on steam.
