If you watch the Mega Factories documentary on the R8, they actually mention how much trouble the special effects guys had when filming Iron Man 1. They initially wanted to crash an R8, but ended up taking the scene out because the R8 always survived better than expected.

We just had a presentation about the LoneStar in my Engineering Design class. Turns out Carnegie Mellon helped with the interior design.

Saw a few Audi S8s posted already, however they are all the wrong one. The D2 is the proper car for the job. Just ask Sam.

My first car was a fully loaded 1997 Audi A6 Avant. When it was new it cost about $40k, but I bought it in December 2006 for a whole $4,170.

Gotta admit that the tune that starts at 1:08 is pretty catchy.
