I could care less about WebOS, but I'm sad to hear they are getting rid of their PC business. I just bought a new HP Compaq because $300 is about what I think browsing the internet on a laptop is worth. The laptop has not one stupid constantly blinking light on the front! The cord is in the wrong place (not the back)

He's not jogging in the desert. He's jogging in texas arond Austin. There are no dangerous snakes or coyotes that attack in Austin. I've been running around the Texas wilderness for 30+ years without being attacked by a snake or coyote. Jogging with a gun = sissy.

"The only things that willingly go to New Hampshire are things that want to die"

"Perry is afraid of coyotes and snakes"

All that stuff sounds great when you are young, but as you get older, you don't give a crap any of those bennies (candy makes you fat and is $2 for a giant bag, out meals are a way to get away from work to go play golf or whatever, beer is $5 a bottle, i can buy my own) and all those are so easy to take away.

yeah, that one too. I missed that one.

Plastic containers with resealable lids. They could also be technically called 'pots', but in the US, a 'pot' is either a shortened name for a toilet, marijuana, something you put a flower in, or a winnie the pooh honey pot.

the carton doesn't say use within 7 days. it seriously lasts about a month and a half after being opened.

I actually don't give a crap about organic. I'm just glad there's some unspoilt milk in the fridge when I want to eat some reeces peanut butter puffs.

ummmmm, apple ifood.

organic milk (for example the Horizon brand in the US) lasts for about 2 months in the fridge once opened. it's great!

Yes, accounts are created through the same interface the ipad is processed through, which is supposed to provide updates to your usage in real time, and is supposed to send email messages and other notifications when you get close to your cap.

I think any combat soldier would definitely be against shiny stuff, but like 50%-75%-more of the military is primarily non-combat support. So there is some middle ground here.

I thought it was comical. If you are going to offer expensive wine, can't you swing for some fine food to pair it with? If not, then your place deserves to be called out for it's doucheness.

Constructively, everyone hates PDF menus, but PDF documents are an inexpensive and simple way to display a document that is constantly changing like a menu.

At that jimmysoho place's poolside menu (mentioned as an exception? I think not): I'll have my $700 bottle of wine with some $7 pretzel sticks and some $15 tuna tacos! Yes, I like my food from TGI Fridays and my wine flown in its own coach class seat from France.

the weak app is the problem, not the password. You can't engineer good passwords around crappy code written by lazy software designers..

No need to check out in space for the God Particle. They can check a book. It was written by this guy named James King and it's called The Bible.

If you believe the street.com (I don't know the facts), then the TMobile deal is because Verizon was more successful at the 700 mhz spectrum purchases a few years ago, putting ATT at a distinct disadvantage. Purchasing spectrum in multiple ways (assuming they are in multiple locations) is a way to mitigate those

that's odd..how would these 2 purchases be at odds? I think the FCC should be more concerned if ATT buys a company that makes whips and Nelson Muntz's laugh.
