Having rolled a car on a racetrack (just off a racetrack), it sucks.
However, neon's are cheap, and a roof was easy to find.

61-70% for a track rolled SRT-4 Neon! Yaaaaa non matching panels!

What you see here, is my very first car. Purchased from my Grandfather for $1000 in 2001. It was a 1986 Fleetwood Brougham with the 5.0. It was absolutely fantastic cruising on the highway, and terrible anywhere else. It lasted about 8 months until the rusted apart, not continually stored in a heated garage anymore.

Doug there are many excellent suggestions, let me add a few more:

Dawwwwwwww

Stick studded tires on that bitch and do it up in Fairbanks or Anchorage. Drifting on ice roads and logging tracks. Sweeeeet!

See Everyday Drivers Review of the last gen M3 vs BOSS 302.
They prefer the 302 for Track, the M3 for DD niceties.

They are different cars, in my uncultured opinion. The GT350 should be more akin to the Z/28 then the new M3/M4, far more track focused, less about living day to day.
The M3/4 is as nice a car you can take

I will always endorse the use of this

My spouse will only allow me to buy a last gen M3 when we can afford it, and the lease for a cheap, sensible DD.

Loaded question:

Mine is stock, minus the billed aluminum shift knob, and BC coilovers. I still have the stock springs and dampers, and when it is time to sell, will sell the thing stock.

No, we do not

As someone who lives with a loud, manic exhaust and character everyday.
It can... chafe(?).. no, more grow irksome, on long drives (5+ hours).

That is exactly the tone I rad that in as well...

Just a head up, one of the members in out Autocross group has one.

Apparently, the hood casts something north of $25,000, or something insane like that.

That's exciting. Do you have a new car ritual, aka favorite road your going to drive or anything?

I didn't know you had one of these.
Man, talk about an awesome car collection.

I was waiting to see what you would add to this discussion.
As usual, was not dissapoint.

Like-a-this... MMMMmmmmmm mmmmmm

Bought my first Neon sight unseen for $400.
