@StrangeRider: I should clarify - "this image" refers to the one I link to, and not the one in the topic. I'm barely through my first coffee of the day.

I'd seen a poster for this image on a friend's wall in university, and then years later found it somewhere and bought it myself. There's apparently a series of them by an artist called Esteve Fort.

@OsDavis: The Borg are a good idea. And then we can have them fight the Daleks. Imagine the tagline - To Assimilate or to Exterminate, that is the question.

So doesn't the first picture make it look like an office scanner/photocopier/faxs machine? The second is a stapler, and the third an old index-card box.
