What about the 2017 Berserk? It’s not the best animation, but it feels closer to the tone of the source material than the 97 show.

The “dive is shit” current trend is clearly a consequence of players not trusting enough unpopular heroes (you said it, attack sym, torb, junk, well played bastion, etc). This is the source of the problem imho. People want a victory as they know it, not a new one.

Vaan was too bland and forgettable to be the worst protagonist.

That’d be amazing. And imagine if instead of Vaan, you have his brother Reks - he was still gravely injured in the opening sequence, but wakes from a coma a couple years later to find the country greatly changed and can’t trust Basch (and since he’s trying to be straightlaced and honorable, finds Balthier’s

There’s a beautiful meta moment about exactly halfway through the game where Balthier asks Vaan why he’s even there, and the rest of the party just looks at him and leaves. Vaan never has an answer for this.

I’m so excited that XII is FINALLY some love. As an FF that’s easily in my top 3, I often felt that it got shat on in the years following its release for reasons I found incredibly silly. Granted, Vaan is probably the worst FF protagonist - I just always felt as though the things the game does right FAR out-measure

As a longtime rider for FFXII, I am ELATED that this version is coming out and getting its proper due. To this day, I’ve never been as completionist about a game as this one.

Fun fact Warren Ellis, the guy behind this moment, was an executive producer and writer for this show.

Not Whedon, Ellis. Whedon learned all his shit from Warren Ellis. :3 This dialogue is 137% pure Warren Ellis.

Well I adored the show..the dialogue is hit or miss but I’ve been watching anime for the better part of 25 years. Clunky dialogue doesn’t shake me much. It did feel very...Whedon-like. Depending on how you like Whedon that could be make or break. Castlevania very much reminded me why I hated the 2016-17 Berserk

You forgot robots! Detroit is ALSO a symbol for robots! ‘Your move, Creep!”

I understand what Cage is trying to do, but given the narrative choices he’s made, it seems kind of odd.

First off, setting it in Detroit, which has become a symbol for... well, almost anything you want now. Outsourcing? Free trade? Income or racial inequality? The death of the American Dream? Not saying Cage has to

Of course Jorgmandr wants to help you start Ragnarok and waste another Pantheon of Gods >_>

If I really cared about what the likes of, for example, Doug TenNapel thinks about the world, I’d find it hard to enjoy Earthworm Jim anymore. And that’s just not a feeling I care to indulge in. So Mr. TenNapel can have his thoughts, and I’ll keep enjoying his works. Because even if I don’t agree with his views, I

Yes, and he teared up when he got to announce it.

Putting aside the guys’ personal views, I just wanna know if the game is gonna be interesting. Couldn’t care less about his previous affiliations. If the game looks fun, and plays well, I’ll be happy.

You mean Sony in 2016? Their schedule still 24 hrs away. Also, Microsoft? I found their conference still practically the same just like before.

Watching Gintama feels like what I imagine people in Japan must think watching Animaniacs. Puns, absurd humor, random cameos (Christopher Walken just saying ‘hello’).

There is an old geek terms “Power Level” which represent how much of a geek you are.

Wait a minute... Somethings wrong here.
