Most of the cars there were out for a nice Sunday drive and weren't pushing the cars at all. The dude in the Tesla was, as evidenced by the tire squealing around the corners. That Vette would eat the Tesla for lunch in the corners.

It's not unusual for an experienced driver in a slow car to pass much faster cars with novice drivers at all. This video really doesn't say anything about any of the cars in it, just their drivers.

Only the driver of an electric car would complain about the noise levels (7 minutes in) of other cars while lapping a goddamn racetrack....for some reason, this is very upsetting to me.

Sorry, not sure how you're determining that speed? Video camera lenses, especially wide ones on security cameras, totally alter the way spatial perception works. Specifically, it makes far away objects seem to approach faster. Objects in lens are closer than they appear.

When there are pictures of expensive cars on here and commentary about how sad it is, it's less out of some sense of pity for the owners and more sadness that a car that would be fun to drive is no longer drivable, because this is a car blog and people who read it generally like to drive high-performance cars.
