I would agree if we were talking about the base Regal but this is a $40,000 Regal GS. A $40,000 "sporty" sedan is hard pressed not to be compared with a 3er. Interior wise the 3er is actually bigger than the Regal in quite a few ways, has more front and rear headroom, more front and rear hip room, same front leg room and 2in less rear leg room, 1in less front shoulder room and 1in more rear shoulder room than the Regal.
