I suspect you’re one of those guys who walks around the car shows wondering aloud “why the Hell did they go to the trouble of restoring that?” I can say that in all honesty because I’ve been guilty of it myself, and resemble that remark.

This is a concours quality, low production model that’s totally stock. You’re not buying it because of it’s pure performance potential. You’re buying it for it’s provenance.

Value of Alpinas this rare and vintage in such pristine condition are driven by investment potential at this point, not by ownership enjoyment.  This is a highly collectible car that is certain to increase in value over time.  

So this destroys the narrative saying if black men walked around in a white neighborhood openly carrying that they would be shot right away and I’m curious as to where all the people are that were saying the white protesters weren’t social distancing and some weren’t wearing masks and complaining and calling them…

We do. Available turbo, a wagon, not-shit quality, comfortable a.f., available awd, no pretense, and polarizing styling. It’s pretty goddamn jalop.

Boy do I hope Mazda hangs on and produces the rumored I6 RWD 6. That’s my next car when it is released.

This just sucks for Mazda, who unlike many other automakers has interesting designs and legitimate high quality touches. My mom got a new CX-5 last year, and the white interior she has is gorgeous. Hopefully they can get some momentum back.

Oh hell, YEAH! We’ve got Bimmers and know what to do to keep them running well (a 2007 328ix with 170,000 on the clock). This one is clean, looks damn good and nothing I read sets off any alarms.

$14k can get a decent F30 335i. Loaded 328s should be easy to find for that money.  F30s aren’t Acura’s, but they aren’t automatically the money pit nightmare that the internet likes to rant about either.

People may have been scared about the first protest, but that is only due to media fear mongering needlessly. Remember, those are the same people who said “if a black man did this, he’d be shot on sight” and...well, here we see that’s not true either.

Nah, I’d just impose some massive restrictions on them. Like, “if you depart from a US port, you have to abide by US rules and regulations.”
