I also don’t like when people convert the garage to some useless room that has improper HVAC and usually no easy access to a bathroom.

Honda and Toyota’s reliability is their flex, so there’s an entire philosophy of use to consider.
Yikes, with 290 lb-ft of torque you would think it’d achieve the “zippy” feeling casual buyers look for. I guess that low-end torque feeling in the TDIs I’ve driven came from the turbo and wasn’t the effect of diesel.
I’d like to see a side-by-side list of cars launched in 2019.
But even if the business case is clear, it’s a strange look for any company in 2020 not to even pretend to care about climate change when it comes to electric vehicles
These are a blast to drive. Sure, it’s heavy and old, but everything about the seating position to the power delivery is a blast. Drove one of this vintage 15 years ago with no rattles or other confidence killers. Not sure how they’re holding up now, but at the price and assuming you don’t want to rack 12k on this a…
It took me close to a year to find an F30 BMW CPO with a stick. I ended up setting up notifications for the darn thing and driving further than desired. Maybe there’s not much demand, but when supply is next to none I think the logic of having negotiation leverage flies out the window.

But how would anybody know that it’s all wheel drive?
I’ve seen some VW TDIs reach astounding miles first hand. I’d bite on this, but only if I was actually in the market for a $12k - $15k car to give myself a safety net.
For such a small car to look bulbous is a shame. Maybe the days of long hoods to package an I6 are largely behind us, but the proportions here, and it’s silhouette, do not do anything to set it apart from sub $20k cars.
“point was someone dismissed the BMW’s origins as economy and it’s just as economy as an Audi RS3 at $55,000.”
It may look like a shopping cart, but it’ll make a terrible grocery getter.
This isn’t immediately noticeable as a special car and it really isn’t ‘that’ special - though, really cool.
Meanwhile, let’s force neutered front-end design from car manufacturers for pedestrian safety.
I wish there was standardized horsepower tests similar to the EPA for fuel economy. Some manufacturers report to the crank, some to the wheels. Some overstate both while others under-cut their numbers.
