I always hear that the cost of game development is going up and microtransactions fund this. Seems obvious with multiplayer titles or post-launch development expansions. However, are we forced to buy skins etc. to fund post-development patches to fix what was not correct at launch in single-player titles? Is this just

Now you’re cherry picking. This could be said about any system/game in the last 15 years. Sure, people crap up their computers with AV etc. and this can cause more conflicts, but at least they have more flexibility in finding a solution opposed to what is often “just wait.”

A PC doesn’t play games reliably? Sure, there are some bad ports, but I feel like I pulled your comment out of a 2007 time capsule.

Great comment. I think that South Park has always gone after the extreme and irrational and now that some people have grown into the extreme and irrational the jokes become less fun and more sensitive.

The NFL and ESPN have effectively created a conundrum of being boycotted without the peace of mind of knowing from where.

The amount of negativity in these posts surrounding a free update with great features is a microcosm of what Capcom is having to deal with across the board right now.

I hate that Capcom can’t get out of its own way because this game is a lot of fun.

Pretty sure Capcom has released a grand total of one fighting game since SFV. Sure, that one missed the mark visually.

If having to find a unicorn and then modding that Gamecube controller to have a mechanical advantage is, seemingly, encouraged then why would they not embrace other input devices?

Fighting games just make for great spectating, so I can understand them being hype. Yea, I’m bias.

Are you asking if it aged well?

My preference is blue switches, but I can go with brown switches in an office environment.

Have you typed on one? The sound is negligible. It’s about the distinct actuation point and the varying levels of force to hit that point which all need to be deliberate but in their own unique manner based on which switch you prefer.

No ten key? Shame, shame, shame....

Distinguishing donations vs. paid content that violates copyrights seems to be the issue. Giving exclusivity to donators seemed to have made it a little more black and white.

If we’re going to look at this objectively then the player who wins Evo is the best in the world. Per this bracket, Punk is second.

As long as we don’t make these statements about animations then, yes, you are correct. Seeing things in motion leaves a different impression for me.

Companies back the competitive scene in hopes of driving software and/or hardware sales. The Gamecube market is second hand now and Nintendo will not see a return on any investment in the Melee scene.

Meh, outside of the clipping issues SFV remains one of the better looking fighters on the market 1 1/2 years later and I tend to lean toward sprite designs.

Good article. Facts stated. A reasonable amount of exploration from both sides of the coin and a logical conclusion.

This is one of those unite and work together toward a reasonable solution and not “ban all guns” or “gun control doesn’t work at all, nada” stances.
