I literally just got done watching Joker for the first time and why in the blue fuck did Joaquin Phoenix win the Oscar? Why did that movie make so much money?

It was just bad and dumb. Is it because he lost a lot of weight for the role? Nothing about that flick deserves any attention or accolades.

If you think this one is bad, you should read their even worse and nonsensical ones for all the other contenders. These are probably the worse series of articles and criticism ever seen on this site.

Me too - the increasing prevalence of shows that include presenters driving while they present is pretty disturbing.  Using a hand held mobile phone while driving is rightly now seen as a problem, but TV people can get away with this?

Saw it last night. A few thoughts:

As a white person who voted for Bernie and then Hillary I have to say:  Yeah, that’s fair.
