Sounds like a lot of BS. For one, the actor who plays Mason has said he never was, at any point, the Taskmaster, and finds all those who insist it online to be hilarious.

They did do some reshoots early this year, but nothing close to as extensive as would be required for these changes.

The definitely pay some to digital storefronts, we just dont know the cut.

I don’t know what folks were expecting. The only big releases since the pandemic have started decent then went off a cliff. Week 2 for BW was always going to do this - especially with an at home option. And the at home sales were mostly going to be first week only - who’s waiting for the second weekend to order a…

They got two movies, yes. But there was nothing abrupt about the cancellation (they approached every season after 4 as their last, and got plenty of notice that 10 would be it). They knew it was coming and had planned the movies independent of that.
