Yup, just like a cinematic book is a whole lot easier to adapt to film than more esoteric styles - cinematic games are the games that SHOULD be getting the film adaptations (assuming of course, that they are going to make them, that is).

Precisely. When Mortal Kombat is the high water mark - you're way into the shallow end.
Seems a cinematic game would be a lot easier to adapt to film than say, a fighting game or FPS.
Oh, I know its a tough industry - doesn't make it okay to be a dick, though. Carrying around that attitude will most likely mean he never gets in - because who would want to work with that guy?
What would you bet he went through the same program, and didn't get hired like those he's denigrating, and is still bitter no one saw his "vision" or something...?
Im a troll because I don't plan to buy a new system right away? Because I gave my personal perspective on the artice? I attacked no one, made no disparaging comments... I just gave my 2 cents.
Or maybe they just don't care. Not everyone gets so wrapped up in this crap.
Odd. Can't think of every having that. 3 on rare occasion - but they're usually shorter than normal.
Thanks for trolling.
To you (and clearly many others - but not everyone). If that were a universal truth - you wouldn't have needed to post your initial complaint in the first place.
To me, its good news in that I now have a concrete reason to not buy it until I get it for $10 in the bargain bin (as I have no plans to get either new system any time soon).
True, they do pitch themselves that way. Which is particularly daft when talking about the few catalog shows they do have - same as Netflix, Plus Commercials!! Not a great selling point.
Yep. Tried to play it with a couple non-gamer friends.... and MY GOD, it was so frustrating.
No one has current episodes ad-free, for more OR less...
Meanwhile, you make yourself feel superior by making overly broad generalizations, mostly pulled from your ass, about people who dare enjoy something you don't - and end up coming off like an "insecure idiot".
Maybe things have changed since, but there's never more than 2 commercials per break, now.
I think its rather silly to compare Hulu and Netflix (ETA: at least in terms of picking sides, ala console wars - this is a handy analysis otherwise). Yes, they're streaming services, but with a very different model. I use Hulu for newer stuff, Netflix for older. I find them complimentary, rather than in competition.
Right, you didn't dispute it, you just found it "funny" that people use the word to mean what the word means, and then said it was a matter of perception (nope - its a matter of numbers).
Says the genius who disputed "minority" in the first place...
