Yup, just like a cinematic book is a whole lot easier to adapt to film than more esoteric styles - cinematic games are the games that SHOULD be getting the film adaptations (assuming of course, that they are going to make them, that is).

True, they do pitch themselves that way. Which is particularly daft when talking about the few catalog shows they do have - same as Netflix, Plus Commercials!! Not a great selling point.

I think its rather silly to compare Hulu and Netflix (ETA: at least in terms of picking sides, ala console wars - this is a handy analysis otherwise). Yes, they're streaming services, but with a very different model. I use Hulu for newer stuff, Netflix for older. I find them complimentary, rather than in competition.
