How was it hostile? Did you actually read the words, or just assume intent?

Whatever. Cheaters can rationalize anything.
This "its a game about criminals, it should be okay to be act like one" rationale baffles me. I saw a movie about a murder last week - didn't mean I could kill someone in the theatre.
Nostalgia filters on full!
Yep, and made even less sense. Guess that would suit you.
"they are now a console maker who dreams of console-less future "
Its cute that you think your guess - which contradicts their own business model, and would require them to deliberately undermine their very costly new venture, is solid logic.
...selling games to the most popular device on the planet instead of one of the least popular... is bad business.
When they just released a new system.... duh.
You really think that because it can stream PS3, that is will stream PS4 - even though the PS4 can't even run PS3 games... and as even you pointed out, doing so would make their brand new system irrelevant.
So, saying people are responsible for their actions is a character attack.
Clarifying language is a character attack?
I get that, now - which is why I said its your fault for using the plural. It doesn't make sense to use that form when you are literally refering to the only one ever to be like that.
Big difference being, the systems aren't staying on the shelves like ET, so in this instance, the distinction is meaningless (other than to those trying to bolster Microsoft via semantics).
Then you shouldn't have used the plural in the first place. THAT alien had a translucent dome - the rest do not.
Ah, I didn't know the PC versions were download only.
But all the games in question were also produced physically - so there is ZERO difference here.
True. But as I was saying to another, with stuff like this - licensed properties - there's very little chance of them being available in perpetuity. Its just not really a realistic expectation. In-house stuff will be much easier to maintain indefinitely.
But none of the games in question were digital only...
With licensed material, that's an unrealistic expectation. Maybe it can work for properties held entirely by the distributor, but otherwise, its just not a reasonable expectation, regardless of the companies wishes - expecting licensed deals to hold in perpetuity simply isn't going to happen.
