I’m working up here in the Detroit metro area now, and it is insane how many people will dart across four lanes of traffic on I-696 to hit their exit at the last second.

Hell My wife and I walked part of the track last year at this time and were in awe of how tight the roads are. I can’t imagine doing it at F1 speeds. Coming in to the city following the Red Bull truck was even worse.

Because powaaaahh. The instant torque and thereby acceleration from the electric engine gives a huge boost for passing or keeping a competitor passing you..

Because gasoline has a different chemical composition compared to diesel. Diesel puts sulfur dioxide, albeit much less than in the past, and much more carbon in to the air. Most modern tuning is aimed at performance which looks to use more of the fuel in an efficient manner, rolling coal looks to waste fuel by dumping

Ask Volkswagen...

They explained this on TruckYeah a while back, including the EPA’s response on the legality (or illegality as it may be).

It wood bury you in a tree with the amount of understeer it probably has looking at those front tires.

He’s rolling over in his grave... I mean bed.

That’s quite a conundrum, I’d wish for a quiet exhaust also.

Bad 1980's car with a 1970's porn interior, comes with actual crack.

This car has always been a looker, and to find one in such immaculate shape, albeit with high miles, is amazing. NP all day.

I didn’t think NYC police went on the highways unless there was an accident. At least from the times I’ve worked up there.

CP - Pee stained driver’s seat and all. No to mention all the mechanical gremlins.

This reminds me of the Suzuki Samurai roll-over debacle created by Consumer Reports. And CR was sued (and lost, then had overturned, then appealed) for millions in defamation. Suzuki never really recovered, but I am sure BMW will not feel a thing, not with all the fan-boys.
