And if they remove free mods and add paid only mods, watch how many fans stick around. Mods are one of the only things that keep Bethesda games relevant given how buggy most launch.

Funny enough, this seems to be one of the more common success stories I’ve heard: The woman messaging the guy. I think it’s because it’s often narrowed to the guy fitting her criteria better.
A) You know the woman has an attraction to you, otherwise why message?
B) The guy likely had to put in some effort, which has

Can someone please gif that or remove the giant “HIGHLIGHT REEL!” thing. It’s fantastic.

Funny enough, I met my wife through OKCupid. However, the difference was she messaged me. I maintained it more as something to fuck around on when I was bored, ended up with us having a 95-99% match rate, she was curious, and found that “Yep. Lot’s in common. Let’s see if he’s a douchebag”.

Aww. Look at the widdle troll trying to be a scumbag. Have fun in the grays there :)

Oh I did 15 years in the Customer service salt mines, I 100% agree with you that some customers are asshats. But it’s like you said, you don’t say it to their face... in a public forum, and then follow it up with vitrol that will make the situation worse. Really, that was just the cherry on a shit sundae. By itself,

You are absolutely right in every way; outside of the fact that calling ANY customer an asshat, declaiming sizable portions of the community’s feelings on the matter (HURT MANFEELS!), and telling community members to “Get the fuck off my feed” would be grounds for firing IMO.

The media is simply going to make this

I’ve oddly found quite a bit of the gaming media is running a similar story; she’s the victim. Giant Bomb, Polygon, Kotaku, they’re 3 pretty damn sizable media sources for gaming information at this stage... and they’re lockstep in representation of this event.

You have it 100% on the head here honestly. The narrative being pushed right now by a majority of gaming media is so harmful it’s not even funny.
Does anyone think that belittling and dismissing legitimate complaints about toxic behaviour are going to make this better?
No, because taking a reasonable stance here wont

The problem is simple: There’s assholes on both sides of this debate (Kotaku included), that are driving their own narrative, and circling the wagon around shitty people.
Sexism in the gaming industry is definitely a problem, but Price is also a shitty, shitty person; and not deserving of having the wagons circled

Honestly, it seems to me the best course is simple: Don’t be an asshole & don’t interact with assholes.

If YOU’RE not an asshole, well, there’s not much to dredge up.
If you’re not interacting with the assholes on missteps you make, the shit dies down pretty damn fast.

Its why I always find their posts amazing. They encourage one side of the debates tribalism / calls for blood, while denouncing the other side for being sexist/racist/etc.

The hypocrisy from this site is absolutely bewildering at times.

Funny story on that front: Dated a girl from Nepal when I was younger; and there’s 2 ethno groups from that country: The Indian Nepali, and the asian Nepali. But apparently, within that country the asian Nepali are referred to as the mongloid Nepali: the ethno-group she was from.

Hey, this is a completely fair take. But see, it’s also a factor where... alright, personal soap box here.

I’ll preface this by saying I don’t feel any of this is right, but it’s something that I definitely feel is an emotional response that people are responding with. With that said, the western world has for...

I’d personally say the blowback against Ghostbusters was due to the fact that mixed in with the misogynist statements were legitimate criticisms and complains from lifelong fans that... got thrown out with the misogynist statements.

Any time that the baby is thrown out with the bathwater (so to speak), this shitstorm

Digging deep into Eternal: the card game. Best card game I’ve tried so far out of hearthstone, elder scrolls legends and Gwent. Loving it!

Yeah, similar story to me, except I remembered all the stuff, it At least made processing easier. I have a harder time relating to people and connecting, but I avoided the rage that comes from forgotten assaults.

Wait until you discover mods, the dlc, etc. SO much content to plug through

The stellaris one is frankly baller. Really adds depth and makes the Midgame feel less empty since you’re working towards things.

Waiting for the inevitable “esports aren’t real sports” comment.
