McD’s should start to realize that their best selling tool at this point is the nostalgia and stop converting every store into the gray concrete McBox and instead bring back a modernized red mansard roofed stores with the bright yellow arches and the like.

Every store is independently owned and operated. Therefore it’s up to the owners of each store as to how they make their stores look. Stores that are in cooperatives are the same way. ShopRites in the northeast can all look very different, it really depends on which member of the Wakfern CoOp owns that particular

Not sure why the map shown here does not show data for New Jersey (unsurprisingly, the most popular store in New Jersey is ShopRite, which makes sense seeing how like neighboring New York, it’s basically the biggest chain that is in the area).

You’d never be able to picture Kevin Conroy honestly playing this version of the Caped Crusader. Bader is willing to go with the madcap version of Gotham that this show explores and it works extremely well.

I’ve been here since probably 2004-05 or so, and I still live in the grays.

I was a small child in the early 80s when this came out. I vaguely remember this and am glad I did not hallucinate it. I remember being scared about the body horror aspect of the kid changing into the car when he got warm.

We’d all love for that stupid law to go away, but the student loan industry and the banks buy off politicians like Kirsten Sinema precisely so they don’t have to worry about stupid laws like these going away.

I still buy a can every once and a while and enjoy them. I just throw them into a small frying pan and cook em until they’re lightly browned on the outside. They’re absolutely delicious. Gourmet eating? No, but I can be in my 40s and in the slightly above middle class part of life and still enjoy a can of these once

Exactly this. Seeing plenty of it in the comments of this thread.

Jersey does them better. We call em Texas Weiners (even though they have nothing to do with Texas) and most people know that the weiners are deep fried, which just adds such a dimension to the dogs. Order em all the way to get them topped with chili sauce (which is what you should properly call it), mustard, and

It’s chili sauce. There is a difference and it does matter.

The comparison needs to be made to the reigning king of deli ham, which is Boars Head. Thumanns also makes a very good standard boiled ham. Comparing this style of ham to very different off the bone styles is not really an even comparison. They’re meant to be different.

Google Wave might be dead, but Miro certainly isn’t. The demo of this was so close to it that it seemed to me like Apple bought them and rebranded. Miro’s days are likely numbered now.

> Whether the show can finally let go of what was and become something if not entirely new then entirely more engrossing is yet to be determined. There’s only so many cat-and-mouse episodes we can watch before hoping we’ll be shown a story taking place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away that maybe we haven’t

I will grant that their fried chicken is pretty decent. That was usually my go to. For their burgers, they over cook them and the buns they use are too big so the bread to patty ratio is really, really off.

I lived in Carteret for 9 years. The burgers at Burger Express are frankly not that good. However, those cheese fries are worth the visit.

First, a correction. It’s “The Confederation”, not “The Confederacy”. A smart move, very similar name to our beloved Federation with a very different outlook on power and the role of humanity in the universe.

Not going to say that the Raptor driver hanging in the left lane brake checking the Accord driver is in the right, BUT, the Accord driver got his due for doing the ole Jersey sweep into a very short acceleration lane to try to prove the point and then slamming into that rock.

Sadly, Matt and Trey have stuck to their commitment to the six days to air thing so they can riff on current events and how we’re all dumb because we’re not libertarian thinkers like they are. This has been tiring for years now and they’ll never change.

Honestly, the thing I got from the most recent pandemic specials on P+ is that Matt and Trey’s views are tired and as a result, the show is super tired as well. While the Cartman joke at the end of the last special was pretty funny, the overall kumbaya approach to things was tired and weak. Sometimes I wonder if it
