Here’s an honest question. Are Varys’ networks of little birds all gone now? How could he not have heard that Qyburn has improved upon his dragon-killing weapon? They know a prototype was used against one of them during that loot train robbery thing. How does he not have any information about this, unless he’s trying

It takes someone who respects the hell out of the source material and makes the one-off prequel with that in mind. It’s why I think Rogue One worked so well, and Solo was more middling, even if they were clearly setting it up as a possible franchise.

The real trick is that they use actual real butter, not that weird orangey oil that’s kind of butter flavored. You get a bit spoiled with it.

I’ve now been to the Alamo Drafthouse theater in downtown Brooklyn a couple of times. They’re one of those fancier dealies where they have an actual food and drink menu. Their popcorn is addictive. They actually use real clarified butter in it, and serve it to you in a big metal bowl where they’ve actually tossed the

It’s too bad that they insisted on no season ending multi-parters for this, because you take out all of those great season ending cliffhangers that The X-Files did over its run. Anasazi/Blessing Way/Operation Paperclip still remains, to me, the strongest 3ep run of the entire series (and definitely the best of the

I know everyone really goes on about how Season 3 was the tops for TNG, and the Yesterday’s Enterprise/Sins of the Father/The Offspring run is certainly great (although I like The Offspring less than a lot of fans and I’m ok with that), Season 5 really is the pinnacle of that show in my eyes.

My mom used to just use her Sony internet-connected TV for Amazon, Netflix, and the like. The interface was terrible, but it worked... until all the services stopped supporting her TV and she ended up with a Roku anyway. It’s very much a mixed bag.

Me too. I have vivid memories of my mom taking me to see this when I was, er, 5 or 6?

Until such time that corporate America does not require a physical receipt for submitting for business expense reimbursement, this will never stop being a thing.

I shop pretty much exclusively at Wegmans, and the list feature on their site and app organizes your items by aisle, no matter the order you enter them in. Combine that with a specific route throughout the store, and I get my shopping done in no time flat.

I do love some Stouffer’s mac and cheese. I toss in a pouch of tuna, and it’s like super basic tuna casserole, and I love it.

If you are lucky enough to live in Wegmans territory, they sell a most excellent Comte as well. In fact, Wegmans has a cheese shop that can match or exceed anything you’ll get at TJ’s, except for that Double Glouscter, which they don’t sell and should, because it’s delicious.

I’ve always reached for my trusty caldero when it was time for some rice. Just like my little colombian grandmother showed me. Now I just put the rice in the IP, hit the rice setting and let it do its thing. Perfect rice every time. Amazing.

Are you rinsing the rice? It’s very important with the IP.

Does Famke Janssen get royalties every time she does it, since that happened around the time ScarJo was still in grade school?

3:5 or something like that. It feels pretty much telegraphed.

Sign me up right now. Can either of them passably sing rhythm and blues classics and/or play the harmonica?

Wegmans has a pretty excellent red pozole recipe with pork. I have made it and it is divine.

Golden Eagle in Garfield is where it’s at.

Eh. Jack Stack is where locals take tourists for a “KC BBQ Experience” but there are way better places. AB’s is truly just a tourist trap at this point.
