Yeah, the shaving helped. The voice didn't work at all when he had the mountain man look, but did after he got a razor.

The dream logic-y aspect used to bother me as well, until I remembered Mads is playing Hannibal as if he were literally the devil. Once that got factored in - that Hannibal Lecter is a demonic force for evil - all the problems I had (like, how the hell did he have time to make those Bev slides? Did he just have those

When Hannibal sniffed him and picked up on lingering Freddie-scent, I actually yelled, "Dammit, Will, ALWAYS take a shower before seeing Hannibal! He has the nose of a bloodhound! Dammit! SHIIIIIIT!"

Same. It was gearing up to his apprehension, especially when he stabbed Will (that was when he got caught in the books), but then, LOL L8R, LOSERS~ as we strutted on off the scene and off to hop a flight to Europe.

I had been a tad worried about how well he'd do Hannibal after the "person suit" was off after he'd been captured and was imprisoned, but after that one line? NOT WORRIED ANYMORE. 'Cause that right there was person suitless Hannibal. And he was terrifying.

The books had the same wound, and it was pretty close to fatal - Will just barely survived. Luckily Alana had called 911 and said gunshots fired, so likely an ambulance was on its way; which is the only way I can see how any of them survived instead of bleeding out.

Hannibal was so hurt. He had his little murder family all in his head, probably imagining them all in their own little plastic murder suits, laughing to inside jokes as they killed and gutted the rude and used the body parts for food, leather, and fishing lures. Then Will went and ruined everything and he had to kill

That was, I think, the first moment where Hannibal genuinely scared the daylights out of me. His 'person suit' was off, and the real Hannibal on full display then.

Ozymandias is a perfect example. That and Sherlock's The Reichenbach Falls have been the only show till now to have me gasping and screaming through an ep.

What are the rest of the top 5?

That actually made me yell, "OH GOD!" at the TV screen and recoil, and that just never happens.

"He fed his face to my dogs."

YES! YES, YES, YES!

Ahh, but he wasn't in the murder suit that day!

Yeah, but the entry and exit wounds show it's a survivable shot, and with no brain or spinal damage. There's even a pic showing the path of the bullet and how it wouldn't be fatal.

Remember, her brother is paying for her therapy - that indicates that while she may be rich, she also has no actual control over any of the money and her brother has to agree, since he's the one who is the heir, and she was completely cut out of the will.

He's just having no success with the ladies when he's in that murder suit. They just keep standing him up.

Well, she's also got that fear that her brother is going to feed her to the pigs, since he used one of her suits and her screams to prime the pigs to eat live people. I'd be in an OH GOD BABY NOW SO HE CAN'T KILL ME rush myself after seeing that.

I read that scene as Margot figuring the one way to keep herself from being fed to the pigs was to get pregnant with a potential heir and STAT, because her brother was grooming those pigs to eat her. She went after Will because, hey, limited immediate sperm donor options.

Freddie's hotel - Bryan Fuller tweeted a still of it, saying that's where it was.
