Actually either the Art of the Force Awakens Book or that cross-sections book says that the look of the lightsaber comes from a cracked kyber crystal at the center of it.

Wait, what? The question of whether or not Cole caused the virus or didn’t was the all-but stated point of the film? This is less a theory and more the most general observation you can make. Man.
No offense meant, but that’s just silly, because you’re implying that sexual violence in that world (and literature at large) only happens to women. And, the sexual violence perpetrated on Theon earlier in the season (or the season before, I don’t really remember) didn’t bother a soul. But cutting a guy’s dick off,…
Truth.
I’ve seen it twice, once by myself, and I plan to see it with a friend and my daughter as well in the coming week.
Listen to it more, maybe? I have been listening a lot and I like a lot of the tracks.
Rey’s Theme and the Scavenger are great. I also really like the March of the Resistance, it’s maybe my favorite “hero” song other than the theme itself. I also really think the “Torn Apart” track is fantastic, and it really captures…
I honestly never saw that scene as being “about” Theon’s reaction, but just that looking at Theon gave us something to look out and freed the producers from having to graphically show more. Ironically, I think it was a choice made to lessen the burden on Sophie Turner in the scene. The scene is very much about Sansa…
I actually thought that whole bit was their way to soften the scene, though it made it more brutal (I think) not seeing it happen.
You might want to update that in the novelization, how he escapes from Jakku is covered.
Twice. First showing on Thursday I could find and then a matinee on Friday morning. Plan to see it again this week with a friend and then next weekend with my daughter. So it’ll be four times total.
I would join this cause, comrade.
I feel the same way about RotJ. I know why Empire is “the best” movie, but this one has always been my favorite. I like seeing Luke as a fully-realized Jedi. Also, because I was young when it came out like four or five, the Ewoks were always a big deal for me because it says you don’t have to be big or look ferocious…
Well, considering how the ships in ROTJ could fly around inside of it, that alone should indicate that it was somewhat bigger.
In this post: Star Wars fan hates most of Star Wars.
I guess that creating one of the most ahead-of-her time and beloved characters in sci-fi/fantasy in Leia (that subverted all the damsel in distress tropes again and again) just simply wasn’t enough. No, stupid Star Wars! You were only ahead of your time and groundbreaking in like half of the ways you could have been.…
The series was very good.
You should give it another chance. It’s a completely different story than the comics, and the world they create is just as entertaining as the comic world. Yeah the effects aren’t the best, but they do the trick. Not everything has to be Avatar to be good.
I signed up for the month the last episodes aired, and was able to binge-watch the thing before canceling my subscription. It was like 10 bucks.
Coates and this drawing are both wildly overrated.
I did my thesis on MLK and am not white, but way to prove that you default think everyone is white. Maybe you could be a better ally to people of color? But seriously, with every shitty insulting post you make, you ostracize more people and turn them away from anything worthwhile you might have to say. You are making…
