Sounds like a very cromulent theory to me.

Yeah, I really like my weather channel gadget.
I’d argue that it’s a reimagining of old material, and I don’t ever recall seeing or hearing about what Leia was getting up to before shoving those plans in R2 or after being taken away by Vader.
But these books aren’t for me and (unless you are an 8-15 year-old, which if you are, would be hilarious to me) they aren’t…
Of course I have. I watched in the theater and hated it and felt robbed just like everyone else. Then I got my head out of my own ass, realized George Lucas didn’t owe me anything, and discovered that it’s like a half of a good movie. And a half-good Star Wars is often better than a 2/3-good anything else.
So what? We should just have the stories that already exist and that’s it? I am incredibly excited to revisit the OT in print and with scenes that we’ve not seen before. We’ve been watching the same movies for decades and aren’t sick of them yet, how could NEW stories make that happen? I am always impressed at how far…
In fairness, I think that’s pretty much EVERY artist’s message (one way or another).
All due respect to Josh Friedman, I couldn’t agree less. In fairness, I’ve never been one of those literary folks who buy into the whole genre-restriction thing.
IT’S LEIA! HURR DURR. ;) XD
I mean, it’s almost certainly “Married her as part of a scam and....”
It’s not so much that he was swinging on vines or being chased by giant ants, but rather how shitty it looked on screen. The mine cart chase was beautiful.
That said, I also don’t hate the last Indy movie. It was undeniably different (and I think intentionally so) but it was still dope. And KAREN!
Temple of Doom is the best one. I feel sorry for you.
Happy Memorial Day to you too, asshat.
You are completely wrong. I know quite a few older and successful “women” who like holding on to that “girl” label. My own mother, for example. They say it with pride just like when grown men refer to their friends as “the boys” and so on.
SPOILERS FOR EVERYTHING
Well, I said none of those things (nor even implied them), so okay. But, like any violence, rape can be a legitIMATE way to move the plot forward and, like all stories, is dependent on how it’s handled and (yes) how the story ends before any fair analysis can be made. And I actually laughed out loud at your “written…
When did she do that?
Oh fuck you with your “You may fine [sic] rape entertaining to watch....” If you had a shred of intellectual integrity, you’d know that’s not at all what I am saying. But please keep misspelling your way around the comments section and tossing around buzzwords.
No, it’s because Theon burned two innocent kids to death, betrayed his “family,” and murdered old-whatshisname with the beard. Ramsay did bad, bad shit to Theon, but he “deserved” it not because of how society views men, but because how society views criminals.
As someone said it above, it seemed to also be about how much we the audience wanted her to unleash Tony on that shitheel.
