@Ace: Yeah this is classic hardware limitations, like how many games can't be played on PCs without a decent video card. This is unavoidable for games since they need that hardware to function properly.

Android Market definitely needs an overhaul; it hasn't improved significantly enough since the first version. The upcoming online version should help.

I think this argument largely depends on how global Android's growth is. If Android is only growing share in the US, then your argument might hold some water (although it is unclear how many truly new iPhone users this will bring, or if it will just result in iPhone users from AT&T migrating to Verizon).
