"obviously akin…on a musical level [to] Sly And The Family Stone’s There’s A Riot Goin’ On; both are narcotic, weary, funky, and seductive. But there are also shades of Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On and Sign O’ The Times-era Prince, not to mention a heavy dose of Funkadelic and Stevie Wonder."

I have a long, long argument for how Fresh Prince has held up better over the years than Seinfield. I also have a theory that these two shows are the best representation of the differences between the west and east coast. Seinfield was neurotic and fidgety, with a drab, pale brown color scheme and pasty white

You didn't even mention the best part of all the festivities: the Hello Kitty Hungry Hunt, in which a number of restaurants in the Los Angeles area added a secret "Hello Kitty" themed item onto their menu. Those in the know who ordered said item would not only get supercute, supergood food to eat - and instant social

In his prime, Stevie Wonder's throwaway songs were better than just about anybody else's polished, finished music.

I'll check this out, but the art museum documentary I really want to watch is the four hour long, "The New Rijksmuseum," which filmed the travails of closing and renovating the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, an ordeal that took ten years!

Lucas' original proposal for this museum was inside the Presidio of San Francisco, and it was a modest, classical structure totaling about 50,000 square feet.

Unforgettable, that's what you are….

Is there anyone else who can't stand listening to Pet Sounds because of the sound quality? The music's terrific - or should be - but it feels like the band is inside a massive shipping freighter floating out to sea, and the sound is being recorded by a wee tugboat put-putting a little ways away.

I loved the pilot, but it was the lowest rated and least watched of the batch. This is not surprising, Whit Stillman is never going to be for the masses. I'm sure Amazon knew this going in, so I'm hopeful that in asking for more scripts, Amazon is willing to support stuff that is a little different and not make all

Adam Brody played the Chris Eigeman character in The Cosmopolitans and surprisingly nailed it. The mannerisms, the intelligently befuddled look, it was uncanny and a little scary…

I'm of the belief that had Bunheads been allowed to continue it absolutely would have been better than Gilmore. Bunheads was surprisingly melancholy, which made the characters small moments of victory extraordinarily touching. It was a gut-punch show.

Neither of the show's two best episodes are on here, "Raincoats and Recipes" and "Wedding Bell Blues." But perhaps it is because those two are not stand-alone episodes in the least, thus making its inclusion on this list difficult.

I am unsure if this is an Infinite Jest reference or not.

ABC Family let go of Bunheads. There's a reason they are a laughingstock within the television industry. They couldn't be worse run if it was just a bunch of executives making decisions based off the divinations of Koi fish.

You guys, don't miss this. It's your chance to see the greatest individual talent in the history of pop.

The Rock and Jessica Alba should have a baby. It will be the most beautiful yet racially confused child in America. Rivaled only by Vin Diesel and Kristin Kreuk's baby.

Look, "may or may not" is an oxymoron. The condition of something happening or not happening is built into the definition of "may." Saying "may or may not" implies that "may" is an affirmative.

I can't believe I had to scroll down this far to find the first comment about the actual movie. Yes, it's great.

I AM SHERE (KHAN) LOCKED.

You like people talking like they do in real life huh? I've got a genre for you, it's called Mumblecore.
