After completing my first listen, I don't see the alienation factor so much here, Jason. The vocals are kind of weird, yes, but this is probably the most accessible Black Dice album I've heard so far. Obviously this is my opinion and you're the rock critic, not me.

Understandable. I love Panda Bear but when I saw him live I pretty much wanted to slit my wrists, it was just so alienating, unentertaining and generally not musical or performative.
