Gotta say that "an old BBC show called Prime Suspect..." makes me feel super old. That was appointment viewing only ... 26 years ago? Thought it was only last month. 

I’ve not seen the anime but have read the manga which is good stuff. The fairytail storybook from the orphanage really stuck in my mind also. It still creeps me out whenever I think about it.

Have you been to a Trader Joe’s during all this? They have one of the best experiences for actually going to a retail store. They limit the number of people in the store even though this leads to long lines outside the store. This reduces crowding and makes it easy to follow social distancing guidelines. They must…

Trader Joe’s is at least 50% impulse buys. That requires people to be in the store.

I have the book and it’s excellent. I have a special spot for the Beasties, because I got turned on to them in high school, and was in college during their late 90s peak that culminated with Hello Nasty. To say the least, their discography was a part of the soundtrack of my most formative years.

I got to see this live in LA, and it was a ton of fun. At one point, Adrock was doing a Britney Spears-style chair dance with a fog machine going in the background. And goddamnit, I was supposed to see this filmed version in IMAX on my birthday. Thanks a lot, plague.

I don’t like the distance wearing a headset creates between me and people in my house. They all treat it like I’m doing something serious and can’t be interrupted.  Nah, if this was serious time, I’d tell you and close the door.
