If I’ve never confused you with Bill Paxton, then you, sir, are no Bill Pullman.

omg my greatest wish in the gaming universe is for everyone to use the same buttons. And the thing where the yes/no position reverses between the switch and the playstation drives me nuts.
No one’s favorite store has ever been JC Penney. Not boomers, not people from Fort Lauderdale, not anyone.
I didn’t know it was still a 60s spy thing. I didn’t pay much attention, and assumed they’d modernized it. Now I’m excited to see it. I should watch the original show at some point too, but I’m still working on the Avengers at the moment.
I’m completely ready for Michael Richards to come back. It’s fine that he’s been in time out, but he didn’t do anything that meets my qualifications for permanent banishment.
I’m not an expert on skateboarding or skateboarding games by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoyed the Skate games a lot more than any of the Tony Hawk ones.
If Tom Hardy can replace Mel Gibson as Mad Max himself, I don’t see any problem with replacing Charlize Theron as Furiosa. As much as I love the Road Warrior, Hardy was a solid recasting, and Fury Road is the other top notch Mad Max movie. Miller has already proven he’s good at this kind of thing. I’m interested to…
It’s Epic. AKA home to a generation of Fortnite players who are well trained to embrace microtransactions in a virtual playground. Rockstar is going to make an astonishing amount of money with this move.
I still think Bojack should have switched from “esteemed character actress Margo Martindale” to “Emmy award winning character actress Margo Martindale” after she got the Emmy.
It wouldn’t matter if New Horizons were actually a single player game, but because of the quarantine we’re all under, the community for this particular Animal Crossing is extremely social, and there is a vast economy in operation, just like in an MMO, which the item duplication throws out of whack for people who…
The interesting part of the jokes, to me, is the purpose they serve. Animal Crossing has a ton of stuff, and especially when you’re starting out (by which I mean the first 100 hours or so), it can be hard to keep track of what you’ve caught and what you haven’t. And while the fish and bug names can be pretty abstract…
Its amusing that Neil knows his fans are such zealots that he can actually get away with the classic “It must have been some mean ol’ hackerz!” routine.
They have done some cool stuff, but honestly, all the best #ACNHFashion I’ve seen has been done by other regular players. Not unlike the Sims, or Second Life. There are some insanely talented people out there.
It always amazes me that this vestigial piece of 1940s pseudo science is bandied about like some kind of universal truth detector, here, in modern civilization. Why not a dowsing rod? Or maybe a magic pigeon could decide by playing tic-tac-toe with a psychic chicken. Or perhaps the professor from Gilligan’s Island…
I’m in a couple of Animal Crossing related groups in facebook, and they’re fine, but I promise you, anything Animal Crossing related you can do on facebook, you can do better and faster via twitter by using the proper hashtags.
I have nothing useful to add, but that was fun to read.
I have always thought there was something off with Neil Gaiman. I know, I know, he’s like the nicest comic book writer to ever have a wonderful exchange with a cancer patient in an airport. I have heard all the stories, all the myths, all the legends. But there is something off about Neil Gaiman.
Fan hug, real hug, bug hug, rug hug. You don’t owe anyone any touching, of any kind, in any situation, ever. Not a fan, not your mom, not Kesha, not anyone.
The best episodes of Comedians in Cars getting Coffee are great, the rest of them make it seem like he’d rather be doing a show about the cars.
Off the top of my head, I can recommend The Good, the Bad, and the Weird, Madeo, and The Taxi Driver, and I’m a Cyborg but That’s Ok. You’ve probably seen some or all of those. I mostly just follow Kang-ho Song around, at this point.
