The one with the dolphin building the fish magnet is still one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

After seeing her work as Lenny on Legion, I’d say give the woman any part she wants.
The joke is that you get tricked into watching Hannah Gadsby give a TED talk because people swear it’s a comedy special.
They had a venusaur but it was too scary! I would swear Kotaku had an article about that a couple of weeks ago. Anyway if you look it up I’m sure you will find pictures of the terrifying venusaur that got cut from the movie.
Ok, but let’s be very clear on one thing: regardless of which lane I’m in, or what I’m doing, it is not my job to speed for you. Your desire to go 97mph in a 75mph speed limit is not my problem, and you will wait patiently for me to finish what I’m doing at the properly designated speed limit, not cram your f**king…
Don’t kid yourself. Why do you think they’re reevaluating. It’s going to be the Arrowverse 2.0 faster than you can say “Flex Mentallo”.
Ugh. I haven’t even watched the first episode I’ve got sitting here yet. Slow your roll, swamp haters.
I’m a big fan of Korean movies, but sadly my knowledge starts about ten years after this era of films, so other than suggesting Kang-ho Song’s IMDB page as a starting point for this list, I have no useful recommendations. =[
I can’t disagree with that. On paper, Trevor Noah is a really cool guy.
I think one of them (the married guy) was lying when they agreed kissing in real life didn’t work for them.
They might as well release the original version, either on a disc or HBO itself. I’m sure there’s a copy of the original edit saved someplace, and it’s not like HBO has that much else going on right now.
I’ve been watching the Deadwood movie and reading The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Listening to Mazzy Star and Mindless Self Indulgence.
Just be sure your vape is charged before you do!
I’m glad you all joined us. I know it sucked for you guys, having to migrate here from wherever you were before, but I’ll always be grateful to the AV Club for rescuing me from Jez and Kotaku, and bringing a bunch of cool people who actually know and love pop culture (especially television) into my internet life. <3
Ok, so it has to be a thing that was created, and was disappointing. Which rules out profoundly disappointing events like Phil Hartman’s murder and (though not anywhere near the same level of terrible sadness) Good Girls Revolt or Carnivale getting cancelled.
The one thing I had forgotten is how jarring some of Bullock’s responses can be when you’re not ready for them. Having re-watched the series at least a dozen times since it ended, I was fully prepared for everything else, but it’s been a long time since Bullock has had the element of surprise. It’s like being slapped!
Yes! Though sadly, in the intervening decade, A.W. Merrick has somehow failed to bring the Ambulators to fruition. The matching walking jackets I was hoping for were nowhere to be found.
That’s why I wish they’d said to hell with it and made the movie two and half or three hours long. It didn’t need any more story than it had, but it would have been nice to have spent some time with various characters, just doing their thing. And I would have liked to get to know the new people, like adult Sophia and…
I’m not usually a big fan of stories switching mediums, but I would take the remaining two chapters of Carnivale any way I could get them. A comic book, a pair of novels, an ongoing radio show, a cartoon, a puppet show, a podcast from a moving train, I do not care, just omg please finish the fucking story.
That makes sense. They’ve been in a loop for a while now. I’ll miss Jared.
