So I can't possibly the only one with this question but… what the heck is Brienne's big plan when she does "rescue" Sansa?

I totally missed out where Roose told Littlefinger that Cersei thought he was still in the Vale.

I confess that I still don't quite get how the Sansa-Ramsey marriage benefits the Boltons or for that matter Littlefinger. Sansa was implicated - as Tyrion's wife- in his 'murder' of Joffrey so in the eyes of the Royal Court, she's essentially a wanted woman. By marrying his son to Sansa, Roose is basically giving up

Throw in Mike Novick and Martha Logan and get Powers Booth (the only good thing about season 6) back in the White House too for good measure.

Don't forget Tony and Aaron Pierce!

If she had died your way, it would have mirrored Heller driving his car into the lake in S5 to deny Henderson using him as leverage against Audrey and Jack

Silent clocks don't always mean a death though: I think the ending of S5 and S8 both had silent clocks and Jack didn't die; they're generally used for BIG dramatic moments. Obviously though on this show, a lot of "BIG" Moments are character dying, but not always.

Bill Buchanan had a pre-commerical break (so mid episode) silent clock in S7 I think.

Since delivering his speech to Logan in S5, Aaron has been right up there alongside Chloe and Tony as the biggest 24 universe badass-not-named Jack Bauer:
"There is nothing that you have said or done that is acceptable to me in the least. You're a traitor to this country and a disgrace to your office. And it's my

Tony better be back next season when he helps Kate break Jack out of a Russian prison

I'm rewatching season 4 now and just got to the episode where Jack and Heller straight up go on a kill streak through the terrorist compound… And I thought that couldn't be topped until Jack went medieval on Cheng tonight !

Also, shouldn't "True Detective" be in the miniseries rather than Drama series category, since it's an anthology? I mean "American Horror Story" and "Fargo" are both counted as miniseries and they follow the same format.

How any one one of Silicon Valley, Veep, or Modern Family garnered a nomination ahead of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" which has been best comedy of the year (well, maybe tied with Louie) and has had indisputably the finest comedic ensemble cast is absolutely criminal.

The question is whether the "sitting USA president can't die on the show" rule is still in effect. But Heller's already survived being taken hostage by terrorists intending to execute him on camera, plunging his car into the lake to thwart Henderson, and suicide by drone, so my bet's on him surviving anything Cheng

The most shocking thing this episode was Mark making it out alive. I mean the one thing "24" isn't going to do is kill off Chloe so I figured she'd be safe but Mark definitely had "going out heroically after fucking everything up" in store for him until he somehow successfully took on a KGB operative (well, Russian

The proof of a great 24 episode is how drunk the show's drinking game makes you during it. And this episode had about half a dozen "tac teams" to start, then 'protocols", "dammit"s , Jack's enhanced interrogation techniques… hard to imagine anyone staying sober through even the first 15 minutes!

Jack probably just wanted to gloat a bit to her over her failed plans and then kill her. Nothing more satisfying than killing a terrorist right after showing her how all her schemes failed and her whole family is dead because of her. Obviously Jack has been taking some lessons from Walder Frey and roose Bolton when

I made the mistake of telling my non reader friends that this episode would finally prove to them why Stannis is my favorite character… And now I gotta wait another week for "Stannis! Stannis! STANNIS!"

I'm gonna watch the SHIT out of Galavant. And making all of my friends watch it. Maybe that will give it at least 13 episodes. Though the last time I was this intrigued by a trailer was for "Awake" and that barely got a 1/2 season (and declined in quality after its awesome pilot)
