As Orca’s Mom used to say: Not now, not next week, next year, or in the hereafter.

Point in support of this post: A co-worker bought of these in Shadow Black for his wife, and his classic-lit-loving mate immediately got custom plates reading SLYPNR.

I’m intrigued by the new King book. I used to read all of his stuff back in the day (ending with Dolores Claiborne, I think), and whether or not I liked the book, his world-building is top-notch. I’ll give it a go.

As a trumpeter? Genius, supernova-brilliant musician. As a person? Well, to use Garry Trudeau’s brilliant phrase, “alleged human being”.

As the undead thrall past owner of a Mustang II, let me say that it was, hands down and not even close, the worst car I have ever owned. Absolutely a piece of crap that managed to stay out of the mechanic’s yard only if I didn’t drive it. I think the longest I had it on the road was three months.

I loved my Focus with two major caveats: the DCT that felt like it was trying to eject itself when it shifted, and the suckass Microsoft enragementinfotainment system. It would work fine for two or three weeks, and then it would forget that I had paired it to my phone. Then completely refuse to recognize that the
