I listened to that episode and loved the interview. I thought she was great.

Definitely accelerating. We are engaged now - I am just used to saying “boyfriend” instead of “fiancé”. And nothing is likely to happen for a couple of years anyway. It seems they are trying to keep the borders open between the UK and Ireland. So we’ll see what happens.

I’m American with dual citizenship with Ireland, boyfriend is Canadian with dual citizenship with U.K. We live in Dublin at the moment but there’s a possibility of boyfriend getting a job in London. We will likely have to get married regardless of what happens.

Here in Ireland, we can get codeine over the counter. We get asked a few questions and get warnings, but it’s obtainable. The amount of aspirin you can get is restricted - you can’t buy more that one type of cold medicine with paracetemol in it at one time.

I was exposed to alcohol at a young age because I had young parents who liked to party. There was alcohol in our house at all times, my mom worked in bars and took us with her sometimes. All of that exposure to drunk people and their antics freaked me out so I didn’t drink as a teenager. I drink now but I’m careful
