That about sums it up, yeah. Boredom. That is the worst sin any form of entertainment can make. I would rather have watched a series that was so bad I could make fun of it than what we got with Voyager. It was just so... bland and plain. It never had a voice or a message that it tried to carry across.

That's my biggest problem with the series. You have a crew made up of Maquis and Starfleet and they have (virtually) no real problems over the course of the series. The first season alone should have had them practically at each other's throats, but we never really see any truly major issues (outside of the occasional

Yeah, it really wasn't my kind of game either. I respect it, but I can't play it. My reflexes just can't keep up with the frenzied pace required to really succeed. Tactical thinking only does so much when 4 out of 5 people you fight are ridiculously fast compared to you.

That sounds amazing. I doubt my laptop can handle it though. I don't have a personal one and the one I do have is for work (and downloading movies on occasion) but that game is cool nonetheless. I'm glad you're able to enjoy it! Seems very few games these days give that kind of experience. As someone who's really into

I had to look it up to know what it is. ` Never heard of Hawken before...but it looks amazing.

I was hoping for a longer, more crocodilian snout, like in Tolkien's and John Howe's depictions. This snubbed-nose look may be more practically believable, evoking the image of a T-Rex (which arguably has supplanted the dragon in the popular imagination), but it's just not quite as much fun.

I'm a c-cup. I go braless occasionally. I'm 40 years old and have breastfed. My boobs do not do that.

You're all jumping the gun. This is not a particularly clear image of the full glory of Smaug. Wait until you see him in action before jumping to conclusions.

I agree, since they were hyping up and were all secretive of the design. Peter Jackson even said it was like nothing we've ever seen before. And it turns out to be a traditional Dragonheart design. I'm not complaining, but I'm a little disappointed.

Well, Smaug is meant to be the dragon. Based on Tolkien's scetch and John Howe's illustrations, in turn based on Norse mythology. You can't create anything terribly surprising out of centuries of folklore and decades of fanart. As Peter Jackson said, you can strech the dragon concept only so far until you end up

I'm guessing Del Toro had some insane concepts made up though :(

I'm especially disappointed because Guillermo Del Toro said his plan for Smaug's design was awesome.

I wish he had a longer snout, like this dragon drawn by John Howe.

It's one of the single most traditional fantasy stories ever told, and dragons are one of the most traditional staples in fantasy. Anything too crazy and there would be a much larger contingent of nerds screaming the opposing viewpoint.

Remember Smaug's design from the cartoon? I still think, to this day, that that was one of the best designed dragons I had ever seen. Kind of bummed they didn't take that as inspiration.

I know what you mean. I also expected something that would blow my mind a little more and surprise me. To be honest, a few Harry Potter dragons had more of a "Whoa" for me.

I suppose with a character like Smaug you can't really mess with it too much, on the grounds that the fans will have a very specific image in mind and rail against any real deviation from that.

That was an excellent video, with many intelligent points! :)

Dustin Browder took to Heroes of the Storm's official blog to offer his regrets for his response in this interview with Rock, Paper, Shotgun. "I responded poorly to a statement the interviewer made about over-sexualized character designs in games, and I want to apologize for that," Browder wrote.
