The existence of Metal Gear Rising doesn't preclude the existence of another Metal Gear Solid game. It's designed to capture both a market that isn't interested in than MGS while hedging it's bets and pulling in some guaranteed sales from a portion of the MGS player base who happens to like the universe of the series.

Well that line is getting reposted!

You will probably stop playing it when you get to the basement's basement. Most people cant handle it down there.

So it's totally legal to deny someone else the right to their own body, but it's illegal to throttle the person who did it.

Hahaha Yeah!

Well I find the notion interesting because the... well I was going to say 'common view' but I suppose this is really just MY view of the Von Neumann is a sort of ravenous machine from the stars that devours everything on a planet leaving it a cooling corpse ball before launching off it's husk like a trillion flys

Oh yeah I'm not approaching this as science or even science fiction. I'm purely thinking on this as a possibility for science fantasy.

Yeah I follow that. What I'm suggesting is that the assumed natural process is anything but and that we're intended to eventually launch and seed other worlds.

Probably not but I havent had any coffee yet and I'm still operating on lizard brain.

Has anyone ever considered the possibility that life as we understand it could be an elaborate Von Neumann probe? There has to be a book on that...

It's too early for me to both be polite, and process such a titillating a mental image...

Good question. The answer is no! The FN P-90 fires the FN 5.7×28mm round, which is also used in the FN Five-Seven pistol. The definition of a sub machinegun is that it's built to fire a pistol round. Therefore the P-90 is a sub machinegun and not a rifle.

I stand corrected.

Actually it sounds more like aggravated manslaughter.

That sounds like a little MASS DESTRUCTION.

At the very least you should read Snow Crash and Cryptonomicon. Both are excellent reads.

What are you talking about? This is what a game looks like in development. A game will often look like this until fairly late in development. This is totally normal.

Nice! thanks for the details Magnum!

I think CptSpoofy is talking about the other trillion dudes. Two of them did fire, but as accurate to the weapons involved the shots are WAY off mark.

WFROSE is probably right about not loading in that moist environment before absolutely necessary.
