So just because others failed to crack the 'games are art' ceiling everyone should give up forever and just keep making Call of Battlefield: The Return of Gun-Shoot-Man? Love the logic there.

It's that ugly nature that demands my love!
Anyone else see this as an anti-zit machine?
Hot damn I love brutalist architecture.
Well this was eye opening. It's always nice to be given some ammunition to counter the Anti-Contraception people at work.
What does 'better effects' or 'today's visuals' mean? What are you looking for? Whatever that is it might be in contrast to what the developers are trying to pull off. Right now I see a heavily stylized game that's aiming for pure 80's fight movie pop. What do you see?
To everyone who says this doesn't look that good, or this looks rough. I don't think any of you remember the original game as well as you think you do. This looks pretty damn good, has a lot of friction to the attacks, the screen shakes and hit effects look solid.
I think those situations would qualify as being 'inhibited' rather than a new sexual orientation.
It's going to get harder and harder going forward. Devs are looking for ways to squash piracy and fund the continued development of titles after release. This is a very attractive way to do it.
Well STALKER isnt in danger of going down with THQ because they chose not to publish the next one, thats why there was that whole "Will it happen or wont it" around the turn of the year.
The future looks bleak. Manly internet hugs all around for this news.
That's for multiplayer only. Try out the single player first and then make a decision.
The color choices and the rendering of these images are totally inspired. I wish I had the stones to try stuff like this in my art! Check out image #4, the one where Link and Gannon are in shadow while the background is brilliantly lit. So awesome!
What'd you do with them? Motorboat? You play the motorboat?
You're missing a piece of the puzzle. An employee of OMGPOP DIDN'T go to Zynga, he explained why in a Gamasutra article. His former boss, now a Zynga stooge, flipped out and called the guy some pretty hurtful names. Notch now steps in as a third party, and chastises the former boss. The former boss then apologizes,…
Yeah I'd be interested in that too, but as an MMO? You would only be able to play as humans and that would bring out demented honking of people demanding to play as a necron tomb spider.
This article describes an allergy nightmare of unprecedented scale for me.
Look theres a simple way to handle a 40k MMO. Make the player a squad. If the player has to have a guy to dress up and walk around as in "cities" give him a squad leader. Hell even make that the last character to die, but make the player a full squad of dudes. With a pack of guys representing the player's health pool…
I'm still waiting for the 'well made' MMO that will break the trinity of tank/heals/dps. I had hoped DMO would be that MMO. I guess I'll never know now.
We gonna get DRUUUNK!
