I've heard their access to speed is pretty nuts

I wish I had a job where I could listen to audiobooks, but, alas, I work at Pier 1. Not really conducive to listening to stuff except on the rare occasion I'm working a night shift marking stuff as clearance. But it's all good— I like reading on my tablet when I'm chilling at night.

I have a hard time listening to audiobooks because I have to find other ways to occupy myself while listening, which usually involves playing a game which then ends up with me getting distracted by the game and then wondering what just happened in the last three minutes of the audiobook. But it also happens with

I'm glad for this motivation to go back through and read it again for the first tiime in… oh, man, a decade? Like eight years minimum. I'm really looking forward to focusing on the adults this time around.

Any series that ended with the characters literally killing God would have been great back in my edgelord teen years, but the series kept its end up with great writing and, especially, characterization. Lyra and Will were practically friends to me.

His Dark Materials was my favorite thing ever back when I was younger. It's dark, subversive, humanistic. It holds up on re-read, too. I can't wait for this shit.

And then there's, y'know… Nixon. The guy who resigned and all that.

I won't include Sweet/Vicious in my year-end list because recency effect, but it's totally in my top five for the year. What a great fucking show. I really hope it comes back, because I need everything about it in my life.

I mean, I get what you're saying about Arrow repeating storylines, but for whatever reason it doesn't feel like it's repeating this year, even though on paper it kinda is. I dunno. They've just gotten back into a good groove and are working the micro well enough that the macro isn't putting me off.

I think Arrow has regained (most of) its greatness this year, but LoT is still probably the most fun. The only one I don't really enjoy right now is The Flash, tbh. Supergirl can be weak but Benoist makes it a blast to watch even when it's on one of its downturns.

Arrow just had an action sequence straight out of John Wick that culminated with Oliver beating Russian Steve Bannon to death. It was satisfying.

I have too many of these to justify the bundle, but it's a great selection indeed.

That lockdown episode of Sweet/Vicious was something else. Those last fifteen minutes hit so hard. I need to take a break for a bit.

That's a really strange cover choice then. Poor move on the designer's part.

I always get a kick out of reading the comments on any article on this site talking about pop albums. People get so angry that these albums exist. And what's worse, that people enjoy them.

Has anyone else (Loki? Maybe SilentSpy?) watched Sweet/Vicious? It's a pseudo-superhero show about two college girls who seek out and fuck up sexual predators on their campus and it's so funny, and violent, and the soundtrack kicks fucking ass. I started watching it after LaToya recommended it in her Riverdale reviews

The first three episodes have all been good.
