Agreed. I can cut them some slack though, because those were scenes where CGI was essentially necessary. All the other dinos look fantastic, though. The raptor hatching from his egg in particular stands out to me.

The only "bad CGI" that stands out for me in JP is the early panorama shot of the herd of Apatosaurus or whatever they were. And even there, isn't not necessarily bad, just obviously CGI.

The movie's kinda cheesy but also entertaining and is definitely ripe for a remake. And Nichols is one of the top three or so directors working right now. I'm excited by this idea.

The premise is essentially that you're seeing The Iliad as it would have been presented back in Homer's time: a single orator, alone on stage (along with some set dressing; in this case, it looked almost like an abandoned warehouse or construction site…
