You’re an idiot. Plain and simple. If you don’t get much about cars and won’t learn from people who do, go back to gizmodo or jezebel.

You literally said performance in your response. It makes perfect sense.

Yes... Yes they really can.

That is true a Q9 would make more sense.

But Audi doesn’t have odd numbers as performance or sporty models. Those have RS and S badges.

Firstly the R10, R15, and R18 aren’t powered by, “you guessed it” 10, 15 or 18 cylinder engines. It isn’t precedent that Audi’s R cars have the same number of cylinders as the number in the name.

The R8 V10 and V10+ already existed in the first generation R8. So it would make sense for R8 V6 name to make an appearance

The Q7 starts at 54k and the GLE is 51k. The Q8 will be a GL competitor which is larger and the GL starts at 64k. The Q7 is a GLE and X5 competitor. Q8 will probably be a GL competitor with BMW not having a SUV large enough.

The TT RS will have that engine.

It is supposed to have the turbo 5 from the RS3, so it should be sweet.

What does having a turbo V6 and V10 vs a V8 and V10 have to do with a name change?

I’m pretty sure it is a larger SUV. The Q7 is more of a GLE and X5 competitor and a Q8 would be a GL competitor. The Q7 and GLE are close in starting price at 54k and 51k respectively. The GL starts at over 64k.

The Q7 is a great idea. I’d drive it over an X5 and GLE.

They could and should have done V6 with 475-500hp and V8 with 600+ hp and just blown the Huracan out of the water.

I would have preferred a turbo V8 similar to the RS7, but this should be as good and weigh less.

This was my reaction to reading George’s comment:

Why bring it up if you have no idea what you’re talking about?

Agreed, but I’d say it stopped being funny long before the end of 2015.

I already responded to you once.

Haha go read the wikipedia page (which I’m sure is edited by Maserati’s people). The block is MACHINED in MICHIGAN.

They ship them to Italy to be put together just to save face, man. They want people to think they are special.

Oh no doubt. I think they look bad on all of their cars. I am just pointing out it isn’t new.

The Ghibli’s V6 is made in the United States by Chrysler hands.
