I would hope the rear seats would blow out a 3 series since the SS is in a way bigger size car class. I am not saying the Chevy SS is a bad car. It just isn’t a luxury car. That is like saying a fully loaded Charger or Taurus SHO is a luxury car.

Performance is completely different from luxury. Saying a luxury car is engineered to perform beyond standard cars doesn’t make sense. The Camaro and Corvette both are exceptionally engineered performance vehicles. Optioning one of them with a lot of leather doesn’t make them luxury cars.

You can call it that if you want, but as soon as you call it luxurious “for a _____” that just takes away from it. Saying that dog is big for a Pug doesn’t really mean anything. It is still a tiny dog.

No, but I haven’t been inside a Focus ST either and I know that isn’t a luxury car.

A luxury car has nothing to do with performance. A Rolls Royce would get shat on by cars a FRACTION of the price. I mean cars that are literally worth the wheels, and it is the pinnacle of luxury. I am not even going to go into detail on your bullet points. It isn’t even necessary.

This whole thing has moved away from the whole point. You can argue what ever you want about BMWs, Audis, Mercs, Lexuses, and Acuras, but the whole point is the SS is not a luxury car. Done deal.

Edit: I didn’t see that other sentence by you in the older post. I don’t have everything with a Chevy badge. I actually like

Yup, definitely different generations:

This is a dumb comment. Just insulting someone’s car with no facts to even slightly back up what you are saying. Go sit down somewhere. You do realize the E46 makes up a whole range of cars and the bottom of the barrel isn’t even close to the pinnacle of that generation of vehicle right?

You think I don’t know that? BMW shares parts with Mini, Audi shares parts with VW, Toyota shares parts with Lexus. That doesn’t take away the fact that they are all luxury brands. It is nuts to even insinuate a SS is a luxury car.

Acura makes Honda luxury cars. It is a luxury brand of Honda.

Alright I will agree an economy car is slightly harsh (only slightly), but it definitely is not a luxury car. Since that is the case and general consensus it should not be on this list.

I am not incorrect. You should do some research before you say stuff like that. The V10 used in the original Gallardo was not an Audi V10. The one used in the R8 and LP560 Gallardo was an Audi V10 and came AFTER the S6 and S8. I know what I am talking about.

You do realize that the whole point of American muscle cars is getting basic level cars with good performance. It is absolutely not a luxury car. You saying it is a Camaro with 4 doors confirms it.

I never mentioned an A class. And yes an A class is a luxury compact car. It is luxurious for its class of vehicle. Just because there are fully loaded economy brand cars with better interiors doesn’t mean it isn’t a luxury car. Compare an A class interior to any car in its CLASS. It is much better. You can’t compare

Ignore my other comment. You mean a car that you literally own. Not the car you suggested. My bad.

Well the car is a rebadged Holden. Even if it wasn’t your question doesn’t make sense. What economy car is a Camry or Corolla based on? They are still an economy cars.

Is a Pontiac G8 a luxury car? No
Is a Camaro with leather a luxury car? No
The SS isn’t a luxury car.
Is an ATS or CTS a luxury car? Yes

Now on to your question. Luxury is usually based off how you perceive something. I don’t perceive a Chevy sedan as a luxury car. Apparently the 90+ people who starred my comment in the

It is a Chevy full sized sedan. It is an economy car with RWD, V8, and a manual transmission.

Car enthusiasts?

You weren’t the guy who originally posted the SS. It was samlleyxb122. I have over 90 recommendations in response to him, because I pointed out SS is not a luxury car. That would be because the general consensus is the SS is not a luxury car.
