A person with the inhuman ability to fly faster than the speed of light needs to be more aerodynamic?

Yeah. Superman and Shazam First Thunder the whole story is great, but that part and the ending in general is what sets it above the rest.

I always thought there was more to Ron.

Doesn’t Hermione take charge consistently throughout the movies and presumably the books? I don’t see how this is different or a subversion. Almost every chosen one story that is any good has an experienced or talented cast who aid the hero.

What I dislike is that heroes will dispatch with screwy villains with weird powers in two pages just to establish their competence. But I think those characters would be better served actually putting up an engaging conflict.

Oh I’ve read books where that is explicitly said. No actual sex though because they were bad at it.

I think that is a good approach and god like protagonists aren’t that common in my knowledge.

What I think is bad about Batman (recently for the most part) is that he will be basically inhumanly competent in the same story where we are told he is the most human because he doesn’t have powers. That always irked me.

I always liked complete screw ups over hyper competent characters, but that is because I find characters completely out of their depth more interesting.

I thought the red goo was destroyed.

Why bring up GG in regards to Bayonetta?
