A cookie?! Newton’s are fruit and cake!
A cookie?! Newton’s are fruit and cake!
umm.. where do other people keep their fruit? because mine is definitely in a bowl on the counter (and occasionally on a cake stand).
They would definitely have a meal in which they taste tested all of the flavors. Lorelei would end up liking some weird new flavor and Rory would very seriously declare that strawberry (with no icing) is the only legit Pop Tart.
twizzlers taste like cheap candle wax. red vines are tender strings of happiness.
and just think of the fruit flies!
For realsies, though, I actually think the show’s treatment of food/women eating is quite problematic.
The thing that bothers me the most is that you can’t just open a box and absent-mindedly pour out too many Pop Tarts: you have to very intentionally unwrap each pair! You have to stop and take each and every wrapper off to accumulate such a pile o’ tarts, the wrappers that are very specifically present to preserve the…
it’s too frightening to star this...
Oooh, that’s a good choice. Pretty close to how I pictured him. I could also see Victor Garber— I think he’d really pull off being just likable enough.
I read it this past spring. It’s great, but there were a few moments that felt a little too real/possible and I had to put it down for a day or two.
After a few disappointing months of Kloverbox, I impulse-subscribed to the DermStore box for a change. I think I’ll still get July’s, which looked pretty great, so I’m excited (though I do feel like this subscription is a little less ‘fun’?). I did like the variety of products in Kloverbox instead of just skincare…
twice! unforgivable.
I’ve had great luck with Elie Tahari (quite good quality) and Tahari (sold quality— lots of the same styles but mostly synthetic fabics) at saksoff5th.com and lastcall.com. They have physical stores, too, but I always find it easier to shop online (better selection, easier to browse). They always have a ton of pants…
Well, if you think just putting the same characters in a new setting would make a bad movie, then I wouldn’t recommend it.
Inside Out was devastating to me. I had to wait for everyone else to leave the theatre at the end because I was such a red-eyed, snotty-nosed mess. It really hit far to close to home for me: I’d just move to SF, didn’t know anyone, didn’t fit in at work, lost my sense of self, was in the middle of a pretty deep…
so, obviously we know why Nemo is an only child, but why aren’t there hundreds of other fish children?
yeah... I mean, it’s still a good movie overall, but the first half is just so beautiful and surreal and the talking dog and exaggerated villain stuff just went on too long.
me, too! that opening still makes me full-on sob.
so, you haven’t seen finding Dory yet...?
Not sure those are right for these spots? I was wondering if they might actually be allergy related rather than normal zits. They popped up super fast one day but then ‘deflated’ and now are just small little spots that need to heal. As long as I don’t scratch at them (there may have been some initial scratching) I…
