Most cops are just not that morally evolved. They are followers and enforcers. Unfortunately in many cases they aren’t capable of more. (and that includes both Black and White cops 90% of the time). I say this as someone who has multiple cops in my own family.

As a white person I feel like the only argument we need to explain white privilege is - police don’t draw guns on me or my children on sight. My mother was never gripped by fear that a cop would shoot me every time I left the house.
