This is the first I’m hearing of her drug use. She went to the same rehab facility (a year earlier) as I did for ED, and I’m wondering if, much like many people in the program, she just found a new outlet for her pain — or if this particular addiction has been hanging around for a while.

As several others have pointed out, they are barring private citizens from their right to healthcare. There is a huge difference. 

Read that as “Draw what collusions.” Not being cheeky.

This is off topic, but it is a huge pet peeve of mine when online articles have the pull quotes after the quote they’re pulling! It can’t be a visual thing anymore (scrolling/on a phone), and I just read that information!

My thoughts exactly. 

Same! I would probably tear (tearing tofu is a new thing for me — who knew?) a block of tofu and lightly fry or bake it with some salt or a splash of soy sauce — or a few dashes of hot/buffalo-wing sauce. I am definitely going to give this a try.

I distinctly remember my eighth grade trip to DC when two of my friends criticized my choice of a dark blue dress and black sweater jacket for the same reason. But that was the late ’90s, and to this day the color combination remains among my favorites.

You know what, I like being liked. It is really hard to accept that I can’t please everyone, but my therapist said I was making strides (before I couldn’t afford her anymore). Anyway, I didn’t decide to try my (small) hand at politics. Fuck you, Donald Trump.

That was my first reaction, too. But I haven’t lived in the south in a while...

I take “rape-y” to mean more leering than anything. But I also went to college when “date rape” was just starting to get a name.
