One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them. The spiders will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new arachnid overlords…

Scully was a practicing doctor for the past 10 or so years. Also probably a decent investment portfolio.

After sleeping on it, it’s not quite as good as those, but it was really, really good.

So, the episode confirms what we’ve always believed:

Once you knew? I figured you were supposed to know that was the inciting incident from the moment it happens. It’s not supposed to be a surprise.

It goes somewhere in my best list. It’s amazing they could do stand out episodes in season 11, and this one makes it feel like anything is possible. If only it wasn’t almost over.

God this was so fucking good. The season premiere is like 1000 miles away at this point. I’ve loved each episode since, and this one was like a great masterclass in visual storytelling and sound design and editing, something the premiere botched in every possible way.

I got a big grin on my face when I saw Kristen Cloke’s name in the credits, and it stayed there the entire episode. She’s now been involved in two of my most favourite episodes of television ever... the other being the second season finale of Millennium 20 years ago. Seeing her in Lady Bird a few months ago was a nice

Yah, mannerism worked, wig did not.

I agree entirely....he had his mannerisms down. I loved the scene where he was at Doug Kenney’s parents house (that Doug bought them) and Chevy (Joel) was trying to make himself a drink.
