Yeah, $30 is pretty reasonable. I'm not a fan of the re-done OT, but I've been thinking about buying the blu-rays just for the commentary and bonus material.

If you don't want to wait for the original theatrical cuts, I highly recommend Harmy's despecialized trilogy. You can either download or, as Freddie Jerkury mentioned above, check on eBay for bootlegged blu-rays. Interesting that the existing blu-ray sets keep popping up on sale, and getting cheaper every time. I

Upvoted for Tin Machine!

Obviously not the same, but one of the few cover bands I actually really love is Bambi Kino. They're various indie rock guys (Doug Gillard of GBV plays the George parts) who only play the Beatles' Hamburg stuff, and they tend to do it in the same style - three long sets with short breaks in between. I saw them play

I saw him on that tour, too! It was a festival that Moby curated, IIRC. The show I saw was Busta Rhymes, somebody else, I think, then Bowie, then Moby. Bowie was the indisputably the highlight.

Oh, man. Unlike basically every other website on the internet, I primarily come here for the comments.

I feel the same way. Was completely obsessed with the show during the first two seasons, then they lost me. I think the main issue for me is, this show is built on a shaky tonal foundation. Too often in the last two seasons, it felt to me like a potentially serious situation wasn't given the necessary gravitas, or

Holy crap, Malkovich, way to turn that set into a literal bodice-ripper.

63 is young for anybody these days, but, yes, sad to lose such a talented character actress so soon. I always loved her cameo in the X-Files movie in particular.

They couldn't care less. If the Billy Bush tape didn't turn them off, nothing can. Most of them think all this "Russia stuff" is just fake news made up by the bitter Dems, and if the majority of his supporters are anything like people in my evangelical extended family, they're going to give him a pass for pretty

I know a little German!

I legit thought that photo was Sam Shepard at first. Right Stuff/Top Gun crossover?

You had me at Janet Weiss….

Oh man, I remember those Clan of the Cave Bear books. Endless chapters of hunting and wandering the land, and then suddenly, graphic cunnilingus!

Seriously, has Pacino fired his management? First he's playing Phil Spector, now Joe fucking Paterno, and as a bonus he's leaving the house with his hair like this? Somebody needs to intervene.

It's odd to me that they would want to adapt a book about a specific place and a specific group of very well-known comedians, then make the show about a fictional version of the club and fictional comedians who don't even seem to be thinly-veiled versions of the personalities in the book. It's like a hat on a hat

After seeing the Bright Lights documentary, the selfish fan in me wishes they'd turn Carrie's whole house into a museum, a la Graceland.

Or a third option: he's never heard of either of them.

Yeah, that t-shirt is actually the only thing in the trailer that disappoints me. The costumes in the original were on point.
