Kim is not aware of anything, so

Also, POTUS

Let’s just name Rapinoe, the next head of USA Soccer and future FIFA President.

I know, it’s really difficult. Things haven’t caught up with the new reality that both parents (need to!) work outside the home now. It’s not quite so bad in Ireland, but there are still waiting lists and high costs. And we even have reasonable maternity leave and some paternity leave and parental leave! I would

I have intimate knowledge of a very high end kindergarten where I live and all the things you mentioned sounds like marketing material for the parents. Go with the cheaper place if you feel that your child will be safe there

Oh god, we’re trying to figure this stuff out too and it’s unreal. My university has a day nursery and it’s really good, but there’s a long waiting list and there’s the cost of it to reckon with.

Ugh. Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I assume the $1600 a month is the infant rate, which goes down, but at that rate you’d be spending $90k and change before your little one is in kindergarten. For the 2 rosebuds, we easily spend $50k at the *nonprofit* childcare center. And no one there is getting rich. The problem is, most

Plan: 6 weeks leave/recovery + 1 week adjusting baby into care while you aren’t working. That way you have time to figure out your routine and adjust to the idea of leaving the baby. Good luck!

Take the 8 weeks.  You will never regret it.  Wait until after the tour for the second place to decide.  Your gut will tell you which is right.

If bells and whistles are just extras, I wouldn’t feel bad; she’s a baby, she won’t care about organic cotton sheets or whatever! It’s like when people give huge elaborate birthday parties for one year olds! They’re not going to remember!

Ouch. Definitely go with the second place, $500 savings per month will make a big difference. The bells and whistles sound great but are there to appease the parents, not the kids. Toddlers and preschoolers will be just fine without STEM, plenty of time for that later.

I would try to do at least a little more than 6 weeks. You never know how labor and delivery are going to go and if you needed a csection or something, even if you don't plan on it, you're still healing at 6 weeks. Depends how flexible your work and daycare are with plans changing though too. If you have to make

“$1600 a month”

Child care is expensive. What makes the pricier place better? What are the child : caregiver ratios at each? Are the locations different, convenience-wise? Maybe there are enough reasons to choose the less expensive place and be less financially stressed?

I’m guessing he didn’t see the episode just a clip of the scene. I’d be so fucking disturbed if I saw an animated scene of me sexually engaged with a friend and co-worker. In context, it makes sense.

Marriage is boring, I guess.

I believe the appeal is a combination of having been Obama’s VP, he’ll keep all the Obama voters, and being an out of touch old white man, he won’t drive repubs to the polls.  I guess? I mean what else could it be?

Bieber, you recently collaborated with Chris Brown, so frankly I question your ability to judge character.

After sitting in many board meetings personally (part of my job), and after the garbage that was done to people like Ke$sha, Kelly Clarkson, JoJo, and countless others, I am never on the side of the record label, and am never inclined to believe whatever they put out. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like Taylor

You know, there's a whole article underneath the headline that you're also supposed to read.
