God Damn I am foaming at the mouth for this. I absolutely love what they are doing with their interiors, keeping them simple and not putting an obnoxious flatscreen right in the middle.

Mitsubishi i-Miev. I’ve seen two of these in real life (because people buy any and every electric car here in the Bay Area) and they’ve been making them for 6 years now. Every time I see one I think it’s some weird looking golf cart.
Good for France and the Rafale!
At this point I really don’t care about top speed, I care about how quickly I can get to 200mph or something. If there’s literally three places in the world to reach its top speed, then that statistic is entirely useless other than a number used for a dick-swinging contest.
Even in California registration for a mid-20k car is about $200. I really don’t know what state is so expensive.
I have no idea, but I know for sure it wasn't Subaru of Stevens Creek. We universally hate that dealership due to their bait-and-switch financing issues.
Reminds me of my rather wealthy coworker who went from a GTR to a BRZ and then wanted to get a new-new car. He wanted a new 911 Turbo S, so he walked into the dealership where they had one right there. After walking around for a few minutes, no one even approached him (he doesn't look very wealthy, but at least he was…
Neutral:I do not buy the bullshit argument that these are all Chinese middle-class families buying new cars to replace their old ones. I see it with my own eyes in multiple cities in China.
I brought my trusty little Scion xD in to a 20-min-oil-change place in Iowa one summer, because I was doing an internship there (why else would I be in Iowa other than driving straight through it?). I needed an oil change and tires rotated while I was at it, since rotations were free at the place.
Why are you so bad with plate renewals? Does your state require you to actually go into the DMV for that?
Not sure why you didn’t like the reverse-shifter thingy. I highly prefer it over pushing the stick downward - it gives a much more confident feedback letting you know if you’re in reverse or first, and it’s much easier than pushing the stick downward. Doing J-turns in a Fiesta ST (which has the same type of gear lever…
Still no turbo? C’mon, people have been turboing their BRZs and they are mighty, mighty fun. That torqueless engine in the BRZ right now is doing that car a huge injustice.
This makes me miss my little xD. It looked well enough (when lowered 1.5” to make the wheel gap concentric), cost $14,000, and it was a 2600 lb. Yaris with a 128hp Corolla engine. When lowered a bit, it had happy, gokart handling (not quite like a Mini, but also much, much cheaper and much, much more reliable), and no…
I guess the cutoff for those seats is about 5'10-11". I'm 5'9" and they fit me like glove, even for 2,600 mile roadtrips.
Focus ST is faster on the track and better on long road trips. Fiesta ST is more fun in general, especially on very tight and windy roads. I do like that the limits of the Focust ST are substantially higher than the Fiesta ST, though. The Fiesta ST is like a Ninja 300, fast enough to have tons of fun, small, light,…
An even cheaper way to legally access HOV lanes is to buy a motorcycle! And if you want to, you can split lanes in bad traffic to go even faster than the HOV lanes. It cuts my commute time in half, and because it only rains maybe 8 times per year in CA and is never legitimately cold, I can ride year-round.
You mean business class in pretty much every airline?
Yeah, I see tons of these videos where the dashcam guy ends up activating his ABS quite a lot. I deal with skiddish Asian drivers in Cupertino everyday, and I have yet to brake violently to avoid a crash. Just look further ahead and plan for these people doing idiotic things, and you don't have to do idiotic things to…
After buying a motorcycle, I've realized you can enjoy the same roads in two entirely different ways. Perfect practicality and lots of fun with one, even more fun & commute-enhancing lane-splitting capabilities with the other. Under 30 grand for both of them, brand new. Presenting my pair of internal combustion fun:…
We do have a similar equivalent in the US, but it's only compulsory for those under 21. It's a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course, consisting of 2 classroom sessions and 2 riding sessions over the span of a full weekend. It's best for riders with no experience whatsoever, but also useful for those who have ridden…
