I feel like this is way overpriced compared to what the market can handle right now. Just my gut feeling.

The Diono Radian is a lifesaver. We fit 3 across in all of our cars easily.

Definitely unproven. We need years on the new motors before we can make any kind of judgment call. Personally, I’d never buy the first year of a brand new gen of most cars.

Oh 100% unproven. I’ve heard rumors of issues with the new hybrid turbos. We need years on the new motors to find faults, and we’re just not there yet.

Preorders are open

Yep. Had a booster and a slim carseat in the back. No problems, but it is tight.

Super anecdotally skewed. Sales ratio is greater than 4:1 - Ferrari moves more vehicles in a quarter than McLaren does in a year.

Exactly my situation. I drive 110mi/day but I rent a house. Nothing I can do.

They probably only watched the show.

Oh definitely. Movie theaters have them all the time.

They changed some of their accounting practices to meet the “individually tailored” rule, so the SEC backed off. Doesn’t at all make what they did right. Specifically because it was at a time when they needed to grow significantly. It shot them forward.

Nothing to do with their centers. As a CPA, it’s 100% an issue with their accounting principles.

And now that spot is the home of a Tesla something.. Assembly? Service center? Not sure. From one scam to the next!

That’s brutal

As a 3-time Highlander owner, we’re looking for more comfort and luxury in our next car. This looked like a good idea on paper, but this just LOOKS more expensive and actually has less space/seating. I’m more tempted by the LX and Land Cruiser than this. We rented an Escalade ESV, but it was just too much to daily

- COVID pulled forward demand. We didn’t have a deficit.
- You don’t need to boost production at all if demand falls 20%. (A report from UBS estimates that global car production will exceed sales by 6% this year, leaving an excess of 5 million vehicles that will require price cuts to get sold off of lots.)
