I’m going to go out and say that it was a hacking security update. Using some sort of 3rd party dock or connection to access a hardware exploit. THe docking systems were just caught in the middle.

The Maxima CVT is amazing. That experience is the prime example of the CVT system done right. Every 4 cylinder CVT I’ve driven ahs been an absolute slug in the mud.
